This project of interior design and integral reform of a house located in Jafre, a village of the Baix Empordà, stands out because the interior design and the decoration carried out have preserved the rustic style of the house.
For the integral reform of this rustic house the team of Coblonal Interiorismo devised an interior design that preserved all its original and native elements, adding new materials and more avant-garde lines to create a modern atmosphere, but with the charm of a typical Empordà house.
At Coblonal Interior Design we love working with the elements that the rustic houses, and more if it is in an area of Girona like the Empordà. This is why this house, located in the old town of Jafre, a village in the Baix Empordà, is one of our weaknesses.
This house is located in one of the natural terraces of the village, and is surrounded by a fantastic landscape that combines farmland that extends towards the Ter river and wooded areas populated by pines, oaks and oaks.
It is a house with three facades, two in the street and one in the garden. We started from a house of stone walls and forged of wooden beams and two turns, in which an adjoining neighboring land was annexed, forming a private patio at the first floor level.
The house consists of three floors with two interior stairs . On the ground floor, we find the double height hall, two double bedrooms, one of which has an adjoining room that can be used as a bedroom or as a games room. One of these rooms is located under a ceramic vault. On the same floor there is a bathroom with shower to serve these rooms.
On the first floor we find the living area that communicates directly with the dining kitchen and with the patio through the deck of the pool. The dining kitchen also communicates directly with the patio through an enclosed porch, where the cleaning area is located with washer and dryer, and a small bathroom that serves the entire floor to avoid vertical displacements.
At the same level is the patio that, through a wide sliding door, faces the street parallel to the main facade. We found the small pool embedded in a wooden pallet and a patio tiled with different planters, and also the wood.
In the second floor we find the suite that consists of an anteroom for office, the reading and music area, which is presided over by an old design stove. From the anteroom, we already enjoy the terrace and the views to the cultivated fields. In the double room, which has a high ceiling that gives space to the space, we find a storage cabinet and a mirror, both made of black sheet and designed by Coblonal Interiorismo, as well as the bedside table and pendant lamps, made from old wooden balusters. Through a walnut door we access a private bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.
