Corners to fall in love with views of Barcelona
When we are lucky enough to do an interior design project for an attic in Barcelona, we start with an advantage. Barcelona is part of us, it plays in our favor. It would be useless to try to compete in it, so we incorporate it as an element more in play in our interior design project. This alliance is evident in the comprehensive reform and interior design project we have done in this attic located in the district of Sant Gervasi of Barcelona.
The apartment is distributed in the room area comprising a suite with double bathroom and dressing room/studio with views of the city of Barcelona and three individual rooms with a desk and two bathrooms with shared shower. On the other hand, we find the day zone, with the set consisting of living room, dining room and kitchen that face to a couple of terraces. A service one behind the kitchen and a large longitudinal terrace facing spectacular views of Barcelona.
This apartment has corners that seek to inspire special moments in the everyday life of its inhabitants, taking advantage of precisely the environment in which the apartment is located. These corners are inserted into a distribution specially designed for the way the family lives. Our design puts the functionality and the use of exterior light as the two fundamental premises. A good example are the rooms of the boys that are intertwined sharing spaces or offering privacy thanks to the 3 sliding doors.
We emphasize 3 corners. First of all, the reading corner next to the gas fireplace placed in the geometric center of the house, in a corner at the end of the living room. The second is the small desk located in the main suite, which with the evening sun becomes the ideal place to review some notes or write an email. The third is in the room of the daughter, specifically the exit to a small terrace that becomes a tiny luxury to envy.
