For this interior design project with integral reform of a small floor, large distributions, located on the ground floor of a street in the upper area of Barcelona. Open to the outside only by a small patio in the back. And with the premise of being a special floor, particular in its conception and in its materials. In short, a challenge to place all the necessary pieces in it, maximizing its decoration, comfort and functionality.
In large part, distribution was the key to solving the obvious limitations of space in this house. For this reason, we chose to connect the different rooms according to the continuity of volumes and materials. Living room, dining room, kitchen, dressing room, suite with bathroom, courtesy bathroom and hall. The connection of these pieces through the continuity of materials, made the useful spaces grow and each room was made larger by incorporating part of the other. The space that remains between the suite, the dressing room and the kitchen, serves as a joker to generate extra space in each of these pieces. When you are in one, the other becomes part of the first, generating the feeling of more breadth. The wooden volume of the roof fulfills this function of connection between the spaces.
In our interior design studio we give great importance to the story that the client gives us about his daily life, about their ways of doing, their way of living and their preferences. Our designs try to adapt to the practices of our clients, only in this way, we are able to generate spaces with our clients. Our projects of comprehensive reforms are only completed with the use by the client.
